Our Cinny cat would run from window to window in the house watching squirrels and other animals as they moved around the yard, while Cookie (Pauls cat) laid and watched him with disdain.
Paul would use his active imagination and storytelling abilities to describe Cinny's actions as a detective helping to solve one mystery and then another in the animal world, by talking to each bug and bird and squirrel who passed by.
I wish we had recordings of the stories..... we could hear Paul's deep rich voice describing Cinny's detective work and Cookie's chiding responses.
Paul lived to tell stories of his Aunt Laura. He spent many weekends with her and she introduced him to musical theater one of his life long loves. Aunt Laura had elephantiasis but she was a beautiful soul and Paul lived spending time with her. He treasured his memories of her and their time together.
